I bought a pair of these at the NYC Hanro store since they didn't have "Retro" boxers available. If you are a long-time wearer of boxer shorts you're probably used to the cut and fit availabe at Brooks Brothers, J. Press, and other bastions of tradition. These are different and will perhaps be somewhat off-putting upon initial wearing. The rise is low, the waistband narrow, the legs short, and the overall fit somewhat loose. However, if you pass them up you will be missing out on the sensuous feel of silk modal fabric, and they do improve with washing. I wouldn't make them my everyday choice, but they're nice for an occasional change of pace.

I have ordered 8 pairs of the boxer shorts in the past 2 weeks and find them to be exceptionally comfortable. I have worn your cotton boxers for quite a few years. The new silk and the woven cotton boxers are excellent. They do well in the laundry and are very soft.
