The first time I purchased the Taitu Baby Doll was at a Hanro shop by Stephansplatz in Vienna. I did shorten the straps of the Small (I am 5'1" and 140 lbs. with DD cups.) But I noticed that the straps could be lengthened almost 1 1/2" if necessary. I have since ordered three more: one stays in my suitcase and the others I alternate with "Flirt", my other favourite Hanro Baby Doll. I believe this design works works so well because the yoke comes across my chest and ends above my breasts, and the skirt fabric is gathered slightly and falls from the yoke without nipping in at the waist. Because I am short, my bust line and waist are proportionally closer together than the average woman's, so in a garment that is even slightly fitted the waistline will end up around my hips (not a flattering look). I machine wash mine in cold water on delicate and dry on low; sometimes I take them out and hang them to finish drying. In a perfect world, this gown would have a matching robe that buttoned down the front, perhaps with 3/4 sleeves. I say button down because the belts on wrap around styles are always proportioned for a woman of average height, plus this fabric is too light weight to work belted without a lot of fussing. The "Taitu" and the "Flirt" are my favourite Hanro styles. I will continue to order them in any colour. Except pink.

You'll have sweet dreams in this soft cotton, incredibly comfortable nightgown. Then wash, rinse, hang to dry and off you go. Easy to pack, easy to wear. Thank you, Hanro, for another stellar design!

I like this babydoll style so much I bought two more. Very comfortable fit. Simple style. Feminine but not frilly.

I am a huge fan of natural fibers and sleep better in them. The Hanro cotton is by FAR the most comfortable I've bought and I will buy more in the future. They also last and become even MORE comfortable over time, like your very best favorite T-shirt. Highly recommend the quality of this garment.

I love this nightgown, I own six color versions of this style which is perfect for my height. The most amazing aspect of this fabric is that it is silky but incredible strong and durable. I have been a Hanro customer for over 10 years and highly recommend this product and the company.

I saw this nightgown in pale pink at a boutique while on vacation, and thought I would try to mail order it. I contacted HANRO, and the agent was more than happy to help me locate the size and color I needed. Usually, I hand wash and hang the gown in my laundry room however, the tag said it is OK to dry clean. I dry cleaned the item, and for some inexplicable reason, it shrunk. I would recommend only hand washing for the future. These gowns are beautiful, but delicate.
